Primary sources — E.W. Bullinger
Ethelbert William Bullinger (1837–1913) was an English Anglican clergyman, biblical scholar and publisher. He is typically situated within the dispensationalist stream, in a particular variant — ultradispensationalism — that maximally sharpens the distinction between Israel and the church. His hermeneutics are literal-grammatical and his doctrine of inspiration strictly verbal: every linguistic form of Scripture is regarded as divinely chosen.
